Jathniela Rivera is a Graphic Designer based in San Francisco, CA. Originally from Matagalpa, Nicaragua. At age eight, she started her art career at El Renacimiento where she studied painting for five years. Jathniela moved to Managua in 2008 where she completed three years of Graphic Design. She moved to San Francisco in 2013 looking for better career opportunities. Jathniela graduated as a Graphic Designer at the Art Institute of California, SF in 2015, earning the best portfolio book performance at the Portfolio Show. She also obtained a silver medal for performing good service and communication skills at Canon Solutions America working for their VISA HQ client in 2018.
Jathniela is a versatile designer, currently working as a contractor packaging and label designer at Stryker Neurovascular, and studying Web & New Media at the Academy of Art University, SF. She’s always ready for new, exciting, and challenging projects. Her design experience ranges from advertising, Packaging, Press-production, UX design, and Branding. The most remarkable of her artistic influences are surrealism, figurative, and abstract.
